Nicole Decker-McHale

An island resident for 30 years, she is the Executive Director of Community Housing & Resources. Decker-McHale was named 2024 SWFL Inc. Citizen of the Year, Nonprofit Board Leader of the Year by ENPY (Excellence in Nonprofit Performance Yearly), SanCap Chamber’s 2019 Sue Rocia Gray Volunteer of the Year, and Committee of the Islands’ 2018 Citizen of the Year.

She serves as Vice-Chair for the Sanibel Public Library District’s Board of Commissioners, has been an active volunteer and board member for F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva for 10 years, and has served in the roles of board chair and secretary.
