After starting out as a reporter at the Island Reporter on Sanibel, Susie Holly pursued her career in journalism around the country, returning to Sanibel in 1996. She continued writing and editing, while becoming active in many community organizations, including The Sanibel School PTA, SanCap Cares, and the Sanibel Public Library Foundation’s Lunch with the Author committee. In keeping with her love of words, she owned and operated MacIntosh Books and Paper from 2004 to 2017. She is an avid tennis player and yoga practitioner.

Sanibel Public Library District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Sanibel Public Library District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
